A ROBBER IS ON THE LOOSE!
As you enjoy a two-hour train ride through the Rolling Fork River Valley, be on guard for a gang of robbers rumored to be in the New Haven area! Not to worry, though. Law enforcement is on hand to protect our passengers. Bring your train enthusiasts on this exciting train adventure for the whole family!
Kids can learn about the history of the area, enjoy the story of the robbery, and learn about how trains work. It’s a whole lot of fun. Don’t forget your camera. If you wish, you can surrender your loot to benefit the Crusade for Children.
What to Bring:
For the safety of our passengers, volunteers, and staff, Kentucky Railway Museum has chosen to cancel the Great Train Robbery scheduled for March 21, 2020. We have made this choice to protect against and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
For those passengers who have purchased tickets for this event, we are offering a ticket exchange, gift card reimbursement or refund of payment depending upon the method of payment used at the time of reservation. If you would like to continue to support Kentucky Railway Museum, as we are a 501©3, non-profit organization, you can choose to donate your purchased tickets to the museum. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family.
If you are a current ticketholder for March 21, 2020, we ask that you please call our office at 800-272-0152 or email us at [email protected] to receive your gift certificate, exchange and/or refund.
We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our operational plans according to recommendations with medical professionals, members of the tourism industry and the governor’s office.
